Medicare Open Enrollment Is October 15 - December 7
Many people in the hurricane-affected areas may not even realize Medicare’s Open Enrollment (also called Annual Enrollment) began October 15 and runs until December 7. For patients eligible for Medicare benefits, Open Enrollment is the only time of year you can make changes to your health and drug plans for the following year (with few exceptions).
