Did you that on average one in 100 people over the age of 60 in the US will be diagnosed each year with Parkinson's Disease? This equates to an estimated one million people in the US living with this disease today.

The exact cause of Parkinson's disease is not known, but experts suspect it may be a combination of genetic and environment factors, as well as age. Parkinson's disease is not easily diagnosed and can sometimes take years to be accurately identified. Symptoms and progression vary from person to person, and unfortunately there is no cure.

But ... hope does exists! There are many pro-active steps you can take to aid in the progression of Parkinson's Disease so that you or your loved one can age with dignity.
