Time: 8:30 am Registration & breakfast- ends at noon

Speaker: Jeffry Gerson, OD, FAAO- Dr. Jeffry Gerson graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1997, after which he went on to do a VA residency concentrating on low vision and ocular disease. He has been in several different practice settings, including a retina referral practice where he participated in several large clinical trials. Currently, Dr. Gerson is in private practice at Grin Eye Care in Kansas, a collaboration of ODs and MDs. He sees primary care patients and emphasizes retinal care in his practice. Dr. Gerson is a frequent lecturer in the US and abroad and writes regularly for optometric publications. He is the Medical Director for the Macular Degeneration Association.

Discussions: Wet & dry macular degeneration, geographic atrophy, diabetic eye disease, dry eye disease, and Valeda Light Delivery System, the first FDA treatment for dry macular degeneration. There will be two videos about the Foresee Home Monitoring program & MacuHealth Supplements
