The Village of Estero has agreed to lease 50 acres of property next to Estero High School for a comprehensive Recreation and Sports Complex. The Village will invest $10 million dollars to develop the property, which is slated to feature ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, a playground, lakes, and an entertainment center by High 5 Entertainment. Village of Estero Manager Steve Sarkzoky, Village of Estero Director of Public Works David Willems, and Project Manager Michael Comparato of Vieste, LLC will present the latest details and answer questions at the May Engage Estero Community and Membership Meeting held Friday, May 23, at 10 am at the Estero Park and Recreation Center, at 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. The meeting is free and open to the public, but seating is limited, so reservations are required at https://esterotoday.com/may2025.
