Every member of our home healthcare aide team is professional and well-trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care aides, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others. Every member of our team is important to us, whether they are working one-on-one with clients or if they are working in the office to answer any questions a client may have. They all have the same goal of providing the best home health care seniors can possibly have to remain safely in their homes.
All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured, and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.
Itay's passion for eldercare developed as a young man. During his summer vacations Itay spent months caring for his elderly uncle; preparing meals, escorting him on walks, and providing companionship that helped him feel connected and valued.
As a psychology student Itay participated in clinical work that helped to connect underserved seniors with community resources which improved their nutrition, health, and overall quality of life. After seeing the growing need for reliable and trustworthy care, he decided to open Comfort Keepers Chicago in 14 years ago.
As an owner, Itay understands that each client’s unique situation requires customized and flexible solutions. Itay earned his Law Degree from University of Wisconsin and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Romance languages from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Itay is a proud father of two sons who are 11 and 13 years old. In his free time, Itay enjoys spending quality time with his family, cheering his sons at soccer games, and cooking. Itay is fluent in Italian and Hebrew.
Prior to joining Comfort Keepers, Jaspreet was an attorney and had a career in nonprofit management at Feeding America. Jaspreet has her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Law degree from North Carolina Central University.
Jaspreet joined Comfort Keepers in 2016 and in her role she directs new business development and HR (recruiting, training and developing our care team). She's passionate about providing the best care for seniors in her community and looks for meaningful relationships with peers, clients and caregivers alike! Jaspreet is married to Itay Shalev and has two sons, Avi (age 13) and Jai (age 11).

Robin earned her RN license in 1983 and worked for a law firm specializing in medical malpractice and then a hospital risk manager. While raising her kids, Robin maintained her risk management consulting services. Robin entered the field of Geriatric Care Management in 2019 after taking care of her elderly in-laws. Robin got certification in Geriatric Care Management and worked for 5 years as a Geriatric Care Manager in Atlanta. She attended many seminars regarding care for the Senior population.
Robin recognizes that providing care for seniors can be very complex with chronic and acute medical conditions, cognitive changes, and physical limitations. However, Robin enjoys learning about the fascinating histories of seniors and helping manage various family dynamics. It is important to allow the seniors to feel as independently as possible and allow seniors the integrity they deserve.
Robin hails from Atlanta, GA and has been a Sarasota resident for over 3 years now. She is an active volunteer in the Sarasota community. Currently she volunteers for Sarasota Memorial Hospital, is a volunteer driver for Senior Transportation Services and is a volunteer usher at the Van Wezel. Robin and her husband Mark have 2 adult daughters who live up North and love to visit their parents in Sunny Florida. Robin and Mark live in the downtown area and enjoy walking over the Ringling Bridge and downtown Sarasota.
Originally from Kansas, Lindsey graduated from Kansas State University, (EMAW!!), with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Before joining Comfort Keepers, Lindsey was a 7th grade science teacher in North Carolina for 15 years.
After moving to Florida, she made a career change and began working in the hearing aid industry as a Patient Care Coordinator, then Office Manager for Hear Again America. It’s in that role she learned she has a passion for helping seniors live their best lives. Upon that realization, Lindsey began volunteering at Senior Friendship Centers, developing a deep understanding of the needs of seniors in the community.
Armed with the patience of a middle school teacher and the ability to effectively communicate with the senior population, Lindsey will seamlessly transition into the role of Client Services Manager at Comfort Keepers.
When not working, Lindsey spends her time volunteering, (Senior Friendship Centers, All Faith’s Food Bank, St Barbara’s Greek Festival, Sertoma, and Girls Inc.). She loves the beach, animals, and most of all her son, Alexander.
