Welcome to the wonderful world of Upper Cervical Chiropractic care in Bonita Springs, FL, and Fort Myers, FL. Did you know that everything in your body, from your heart rate to your immune system, depends on the proper functioning of your nerve system? This system, composed of the brain, brainstem, spinal cord, and nerves, is known as the "master control network" of the body. It governs how your body functions, adapts to its environment, and heals. As a result, the health of your nerve system is foundational to achieving true wellness.

At Breakthrough Health Center, we specialize in Upper Cervical Chiropractic care to help restore balance and function to your body, relieving chronic pain and promoting healing from within.

What is Upper Cervical Chiropractic?

Chiropractic care is based on the philosophy, science, and art of promoting natural healing and optimal nerve system function. Upper Cervical Chiropractors focus specifically on the first two bones in your neck—your cervical spine—and their critical relationship with the brainstem, a vital portion of your nerve system.

The brainstem functions as a "switchboard operator," transmitting signals between the brain and the rest of your body through the spinal cord and nerves. When there is a misalignment of the upper cervical spine, it can put pressure on the brainstem, disrupting communication between the brain and body. This interference can lead to a variety of health issues, including chronic pain, poor healing, and diminished body function.

At Breakthrough Health Center, we use advanced techniques to detect and correct these misalignments with precise adjustments. By restoring proper alignment to your cervical spine, we remove nerve interference, allowing your body to return to a state of health and function at its full potential.

How Can Upper Cervical Chiropractic Help Me?

Yes, it can! Upper Cervical Chiropractic care can benefit individuals of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Whether you are experiencing chronic pain, dealing with an injury, or simply want to improve your health, upper cervical care can help. By ensuring proper communication between your brain and body, we enable your body to function and heal naturally, at 100%.

Here are some of the most common conditions that have responded positively to Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care:

  • Neck Pain
  • Back Pain
  • Sciatica Pain
  • Headaches (including Migraines)
  • Vertigo (Dizziness)
  • Scoliosis
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia

Why Choose Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care?

Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care is different from traditional chiropractic adjustments because it focuses specifically on the top two bones of the neck, where the brainstem is located. The brainstem is essential for all body functions and is incredibly sensitive to misalignments. By gently correcting these misalignments, upper cervical care removes the pressure on the brainstem, allowing the nervous system to function properly.

This non-invasive, drug-free approach provides relief from many conditions by restoring balance to the entire body. Whether you suffer from chronic pain or simply want to optimize your health, our team in Bonita Springs, FL, and Fort Myers, FL, is here to help you achieve lasting results.

What to Expect During Upper Cervical Care

During your initial consultation, our experienced chiropractors will conduct a thorough assessment to determine if an upper cervical misalignment is affecting your health. This assessment includes detailed scans and imaging to pinpoint any areas of interference in your nervous system.

Once we identify the issue, we will develop a personalized care plan that includes precise upper cervical adjustments to gently realign the spine and restore communication between your brain and body.

Lasting Results with Upper Cervical Chiropractic

Unlike other treatments that only address symptoms, Upper Cervical Chiropractic targets the root cause of many health issues—nerve system interference. By correcting these misalignments, we help your body regain its natural ability to heal and function optimally.

exceptional experiences around the table, but I wanted to contribute even more to daily life here.  My goal is simple: every resident should wake up each morning with something exciting to look forward to.That philosophy is reflected in every square of The Glenviews bustling Activities Calendar. A Calendar Packed with PossibilityRachels vision is ambitious: create enough variety that every philosophy to pop culture and current events. Culinary ExperiencesFood lovers eagerly await the monthly cooking demonstrations led by Executive Chef David Chidsey or Pastry Chef Ashley Yedeski.  Residents learn professional techniques, enjoy generous tastings, and occasionally see favorite recipes make their way onto the dining room menu. The culinary fun continues with themed luncheons and tea parties.  Recent favorites have included French and Asian-inspired lunches, farm-to-table seasonal luncheons, a Southern Tea Party, and a whimsical Mad Hatter Tea complete with imaginative desserts.Ashley has a gift for creating memorable pastries, said Rachel.  Together, we love finding ways to surprise residents with something delicious and unexpected. Wellness for the Whole PersonAt The Glenview, wellness extends far beyond exercise.Working alongside Director of Health & Wellness Navigation Kari Bone, Rachel helps create programming that supports all eight Dimensions of Rachel is also working with yoga instructor Marjorie to launch a Senior Salsa class and continues partnering with the resident-led Lifestyle Committee to bring new ideas to life. The best ideas often come from residents, said Rachel.  When people share their passions, we can create even more opportunities for connection and fun.Resident Judy Johansen agrees.  Rachels enthusiasm is contagious, said I Only Wish Id Moved Sooner: Jeanne Findlaters Glenview Story

For Jeanne Findlater, moving to The Glenview at Pelican Bay wasnt just a change of address it was a discovery. I wish Id done it years ago, she said. I simply didnt realize what this lifestyle could offer.Jeanne knows a thing or two about recognizing exceptional opportunities. In 1979, she made history as the first woman in the country to lead a television station in a Top 10 market, when ABC appointed her Vice President and General Manager of WXYZ-TV in Detroit. Today, the Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame member, says one of the best decisions shes ever made was choosing The Glenview. I love having my own home and my privacy, Jeanne said. But I also love knowing that everything is taken care of. I dont worry about maintenance, repairs, or the little things anymore. Its incredibly freeing. The Freedom to Enjoy Every DayMost afternoons, Jeanne relaxes with a glass of wine, a mystery novel, and sweeping views of the Gulf before heading to dinner in The Glenviews elegant dining room. When shes ready to be social, all she has to do is open her front door. Its like living in a beautiful boutique hotel, Jeanne said. There are concerts, lectures, fitness classes, bridge, mahjongg, and wonderful people everywhere. It all comes together to create a very rich life.An Unmatched LocationFor Jeanne, The Glenviews location is equally extraordinary. Theres nothing else like it, she said. Were surrounded by the beauty of Pelican Bays protected mangroves, and I can take the complimentary tram to the beach whenever I want, enjoy lunch by the Gulf, then walk to waterside shops, the Artis Naples Performing Arts Center, or the Baker Museum. Everything is right here.A Home Thats Truly Her OwnJeanne also appreciates that residents own their homes, allowing her to create a space thats uniquely hers. I opened up my kitchen, added granite, and created a home thats perfect for entertaining, she said. It feels exactly the way I wanted it to.The Difference is the PeopleAbove all, Jeanne says its the people who make The Glenview exceptional. The staff is extraordinary, she said. Theyre caring, thoughtful, and always looking out for us. You feel supported every single day.Looking back, Jeanne has only one regret. I waited too long, she said. Life here is everything I hoped retirement could be.
