Seniors Blue Book respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects businesses, partners, contributors, users, and other parties who submit content to SeniorsBlueBook.com to do the same.

SeniorsBlueBook.com may contain content submitted or provided by third parties, including business listings, articles, photographs, graphics, videos, events, job postings, advertisements, and other materials.

Parties submitting content to Seniors Blue Book are responsible for ensuring that they own the content they submit or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations for its publication and use.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that material available on SeniorsBlueBook.com infringes a copyright that you own or are authorized to enforce, you may submit a written notification of claimed infringement to our Designated Copyright Agent pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

Your notice should include:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf;
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of those works;

4. Information reasonably sufficient to allow us to contact you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;

What Happens After We Receive a Notice

Upon receipt of a notification of claimed copyright infringement, Seniors Blue Book will review the notice and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

When appropriate, this may include removing or disabling access to the material identified in the notice and notifying the party that provided or submitted the affected material.

Seniors Blue Book may request additional information when reasonably necessary to identify the copyrighted work, locate the material at issue, evaluate the notice, or determine an appropriate response.

Counter-Notification

If material you submitted to SeniorsBlueBook.com has been removed or access to it has been disabled as a result of a copyright complaint, and you believe the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

A counter-notification should include:

8. Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled;
9. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;

11. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court as provided by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notification of claimed infringement or that person's agent.

Counter-notifications should be sent to the Designated Copyright Agent listed above.

Following receipt of a valid counter-notification, Seniors Blue Book may provide a copy to the party who submitted the original copyright complaint and may restore the affected material in accordance with applicable law unless the original complaining party provides notice that it has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Seniors Blue Book has adopted a policy providing for the termination, in appropriate circumstances, of users, contributors, partners, or account holders who are repeat copyright infringers.

Seniors Blue Book reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or access to content-submission features when appropriate, including in response to repeated copyright violations.

Seniors Blue Book may also remove or disable access to content when reasonably necessary to protect intellectual property rights or comply with applicable law.

Responsibility for Submitted Content

Businesses, advertisers, partners, contributors, and other parties submitting materials to Seniors Blue Book are responsible for the content they provide.

By submitting content for publication, the submitting party represents that it owns the submitted material or possesses all rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations necessary to provide the material to Seniors Blue Book and authorize its publication and use.

This includes, without limitation, photographs, stock photography, graphics, logos, videos, written materials, advertisements, and other intellectual property included in a submission.

Submission of content to Seniors Blue Book does not transfer responsibility for obtaining necessary third-party permissions or licenses to Seniors Blue Book.

Misrepresentations

Under the DMCA, a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability under applicable law.

Please submit copyright notices and counter-notifications only when you have a good-faith basis for doing so.

Changes to This Policy

Seniors Blue Book may update this Copyright & DMCA Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, practices, or applicable law.
