There is no income limit on residents who purchase these units.Florence House cooperative apartments are located in one wing of Roslindale House, the former Roslindale High School building at Poplar and Florence streets, a short walk from Roslindale Square.An important element of these apartments is that they are part of Roslindale House, a larger community facility for elders providing access to health care, recreation, nutrition and social services. The availability of these programs and services makes Florence House a living arrangement unique in the area.
Rogersons Cooper House is the fourth property completed on a beautiful historic campus overlooking Franklin Park in Roxburys Egleston Square neighborhood. Completed in 2015, Cooper House has 37 apartments for low-income elders with access to Rogersons Fitness First and Egleston Adult Day Health Program.
Since 1999, Rogerson has managed Council Tower, a 17-story elevator building, owned by Council of Elders Housing Corporation, a community based organization affiliated with Forward, Inc. Rogerson oversaw the $4.5 million renovation of the HUD-supported building in the fall of 2005.Council Tower offers 144 subsidized units for elders with a live-in staff member.The building also includes a computer learning center, fitness center, a kitchen for events, on-site laundry, and a community roof deck with unrivaled views of the Boston skyline.
