Designed especially for Assisted Living residents needing memory care, the Memory Care program provides a safe, secure and home-like environment for residents with Alzheimers or other dementias.Masonicare at Ashlar Village in Wallingford and Masonicare at Mystic each offers this special memory support community. With a commitment to honor each individual as unique and respected, the specially trained Masonicare team works to create a supportive environment of dignity, kindness and safety. Our Memory Care neighborhoods create a home-like environment with plenty of room to move about while having the privacy of ones own studio apartment with a private bath.The Masonicare Difference is the availability of Long Term Memory Care and Behavioral Health Hospital at our Masonicare Health Center. When a parent, spouse or family member needs more care than can be provided at the Assisted Living level, a transfer to our Long Term Memory Care can be arranged to suit the residents current needs.Our Behavioral Health Hospital is available for any acute episodes where a resident may need some medical intervention or a medication adjustment. Our specialized program works with seniors who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms or behaviors that interfere with regular care. Our therapeutic program works with the individual resident to achieve a stable baseline and return to their home.
