Membership to the center is a one-time cost of $10 per individual or $25 per family for a lifetime membership. Membership entitles general use of the four large Recreation Centers in Lee County including gymnasium activities and use of the "Rec Room". Enrollment in programs and use of the fitness center may have an additional monthly fee.
Fitness Center Membership
The fitness center costs an additional $20/month, $80/six months, or $120/year. It features an array of exercise equipment, including free weights, treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent stationary bicycles, rowing machines, and resistance machines.
This dog park features two off-lead play areas (one for small dogs and one for large dogs). To enter the small dog area, all dogs must be 18 inches or less when measured at the shoulder. Please remember to clean up after your pet. The park features water for our canine friends to use while they exercise and socialize. A dog wash station is located just outside the play areas to rinse off your dog before leaving.
The dog park is closed from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays for routine maintenance.
There are three large pavilions available to rent for picnics and family events. The cost is $50 per day and reservations are frequently made well in advance. Please click here (enter preferred date then select search), to check availability and/or to make your reservation online.
The small shelters within the park with red roofs are available on a first come, first served basis.
The Estero Historical Society educates the public and inspires a spirit to learn, teach, and preserve the history of Estero. By our continuing efforts, we hope to secure a rich historical legacy of the early Estero settlers for future generations and share in the strong sense of community identity. The Historic Area, within the Estero Community Park, the Estero Historical Society provides a capability for the greater Estero community to experience history through docent tours of the 1902 Hall-Hanson-Collier (cottage) house and the 1904 Estero Creek schoolhouse, displays of artifacts, events, and documentation of early Estero history.
