We provide enhanced self-assessments in the comfort of the senior's home or at their community. The sessions include a casual learning conversation, paper/pencil cognitive exercises and lastly, a driving exercise. Following the session we provide a comprehensive, detailed report with copies of the cognitive exercises. These reports can go to the people you select such as other family members, doctors, social workers etc. Based on the session as a whole, we determine whether your senior loved-one should continue driving or if retirement is in order. Please note our driving exercise is performed in your loved-ones own vehicle, on their own familiar roads. Our philosophy is they are nervous and stressed over the thought of losing their driving privileges. By having them drive on roads theyve never driven on before or use someone elses vehicle (or worse, a simulator) will only add to their angst. We go out of our way to make this as non-clinical as possible.
