As a Kansas City native, I love our city and I'm a dedicated "real estate matchmaker". I love being a full-time Realtor who truly enjoys the hunt to find the perfect home for my clients.

I value the trust my clients place in me and I strive every day to exceed their expectations as I aim to provide the best customer service through communication, dedication, and commitment. I look forward to understanding my client's needs and to best represent their interests with the highest level of integrity and commitment...and I promise to bring a little fun into every real estate transaction! I have earned my Accredited Buyers Representative designation to give my clients the professional tools to be an advocate and guide. Additionally, I have earned my Senior Real Estate Specialist designation to be able to meet the special needs of maturing clients when selling, buying, or relocating. Both of these designations provide the best options and information for my clients to make life-changing decisions.

When I help my clients find a new home, I maintain constant communication with all parties involved. This includes you, agents, lenders, inspectors, appraisers, etc. I am dedicated to guiding you through the entire process, providing my knowledge of the neighborhood, incorporating my relationships with fellow agents and my network, and educating you on how to navigate the process.

Shelli was recommended by a friend when I started looking for my first home.

I talked to several realtors, but from the very beginning I felt that Shelli was perfect for me. She was so warm and friendly, but very sincere, and I never got the feeling she was trying to push me into anything. I would like to take a minute out of our moving process to give a shout out to our realtor Shelly Jaye.

While this has been a hectic time for us, Shelly has been present - body, mind, heart and soul. Always available and chock full of useful advice. From helpful hints about preparing our house for sale, to referring movers and roofers who turned out to be wonderful help. Even small things like bringing boxes for our move, which made our process just a little easier. A challenging buyers market for sure, houses were selling like hot cakes and difficult to bid. But Shelly was up to the challenge, assuring that we were aware of available homes even before they came to market. The timing of the sale of our home was such that we had previously planned a vacation at the time when our house went up for sale. No problem. While we were away, Shelly took care of everything, maintaining constant contact about the proceedings. Our house sold the first day. It takes a certain sense of humor to keep up with my bantering with my wife about who gets which room for an office or who gets which closet as we inspect each prospective home. Shelly has a delightful sense of humor, which made the experience fun - even though she often sided with my wife. Just so you know, Shelly, there were no compromises. We both found what we wanted.
