Owned and operated by the Town of Greenwich since 1903, the Witherell, a not-for-profit healthcare facility, is dedicated to providing the highest level of skilled nursing care and quality of life for our seniors. We also offer exceptional short-term rehabilitation and sub-acute post-hospitalization care for all those in need.

Short-term rehab at Witherell consists of comprehensive programs in each of the following areas: Orthopedic (hip, knee, shoulder); Cardiac (heart surgery, valve replacement, heart transplant, heart attack, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); Neurological (back surgery, spinal cord injury, stroke, Parkinson's Disease, multiple sclerosis); General Medical (amputees, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), cancer recovery, medically deconditioned patients).
