THE TERRACES AT BONITA SPRINGS CLOSES $140 MILLION bond sale to begin construction. With more than 80 percent of its residences reserved, The Terraces at Bonita Springs has obtained bond financing to begin construction on the brand-new $70 million senior living community. The new community will be located between Naples and Ft. Myers on approximately 20 acres off South Tamiami Trail, near Bonita Bay and Highland Woods Golf and Country Club. Once completed, The Terraces will employ approximately 200 people.
This is a significant milestone in the many phases of developing this brand-new community, said Troy Hart, president of Santa Fe Senior Living, sponsor of The Terraces. Thanks to the support of civic leaders and the confidence and commitment from our depositors, were able to move forward and bring upscale senior living to Southwest Florida. The immense interest we've experienced proves the services, amenities and lifestyle opportunities The Terraces will offer are exactly what older adults in the area are looking for, said Hart.
As an Unlimited Lifecare community, The Terraces at Bonita Springs will feature maintenance-free, independent living in 144 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes. It will also provide lifetime access to on-site health care, including 48 assisted living, 40 skilled nursing and 18 dedicated memory support residences, if ever needed.
The Terraces lifestyle will include a variety of amenities such as fine dining, a bistro, a sky lounge with rooftop views, performance center auditorium, creative arts studio, spa, and a fitness center with group fitness classes, wellness programs, and indoor and outdoor pools.
Residents will stay connected to the life they've built here in Southwest Florida near their family, friends and professionals they know and trust, such as doctors, dentists, bankers and financial advisors, added Hart. Additionally, they'll have an abundance of opportunities to begin new relationships as they participate in the functions and events offered at The Terraces.
A Groundbreaking Ceremony was held in November, and construction is well underway. Sales counselors will continue taking reservations at the Information Center for remaining apartment homes. Limited-time construction benefits are available now, including a 92% refundable entrance fee with Unlimited Lifecare, discounted second-person fee, one month complimentary service fee and one-car garage at no extra charge. To lock in these benefits, or learn more information, call (239) 221-8907 or toll-free at (877) 333-1860, or visit the community's website at TheTerracesAtBonitaSprings.com.
