Very flexible hours. After first round of deliveries are made one a year, the job consists of restocking racks on a bi-monthly basis.

This includes safety plans, reportingemergencies, life skills programming and emergency procedures  Maintain necessary paperwork, including medicationlogs, incident reports, check-in guide. Victim Advocate Volunteer

Not all hero's wear capes. Be a local hero and help victims of crime in your community. The Westminster Police Department is seeking applicants for Volunteer Victim Advocates. This position responds to victims of crime and personal tragedy to provide crisis intervention, support, and important information. You will be dispatched to respond to crime scenes, the police department or hospitals to provide direct services after Law Enforcement Officers have secured the scene. You will receive advocacy training and shadow a veteran advocate before working on your own. Advocates act in an on-call capacity nights and weekends and each advocate works three, 12 hour shifts. A monthly meeting for on-going training is required. Dignity Hospice of Colorado serves patients, their families and the communities where they live throughout Denver and the Front Range, and has expanded into the Greeley, Loveland, and Fort Collins area in 2021. Provide spiritual and/or religious interventions to patients, families, and caregivers who need spiritual companionship and counseling as it relates to end-of-life care.Reports to: Chaplain CoordinatorQualifications/Educational Requirements: Completion of Masters level education in theology, spiritual counseling, or other pastoral care related studies. Completion of 1+ units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE/ACPE) and/or experience with hospice spiritual counseling preferred. Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team Ability to schedule and complete tasks independently Ability to provide care in an interfaith and multi-cultural setting and network with local clergy and faith communities Excellent written and verbal communication skillsResponsibilities/Essential Functions:1. Conducts spiritual assessment of patients, families and/or caregivers in the hospice program and ensures appropriate services are rendered within state, company, and hospice guidelines.2. Completes the individual Plan of Care by participating in the comprehensive assessment to meet identified spiritual needs within state, company and hospice guidelines.3. Visits the patient/family at intervals designated by the patient's Plan of Care. Available Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and on-call on evenings/weekends as assigned4. Attends patient care conference and interdisciplinary team meetings as a member of the interdisciplinary team5. Attends all trainings and in-services as required; make up materials when missed as directed.6. Coordinates with outside resources, including the patients religious community, as needed/requested to meet spiritual care needs and clearly documents all contact in progress notes.7. Functions as a patient advocate assuring patients rights to information, always providing patient safety, and following HIPAA guidelines.8. Participates in the bereavement program by contacting the patient/family as needed or requested by Dignitys Bereavement Coordinator. Assist with the development of the Bereavement Plan of Care when requested and be available for family services for the patients family up to 13 months after the death of the patient.9. Performs spiritual/religious services such as memorials, funerals, grief groups, etc. as requested by patients, family, or staff members.10. Performs and contribute to the spiritual care of Dignity staff members, including blessings and reflections before meetings, memorial services, spiritual program planning, staff outreach and counseling.11. Outwardly present a professional, non-anxious presence, demonstrate emotional maturity, and pastoral authority, advocate for the needs of the patient in accordance with their belief systems during coordination of care meetings, IDT meetings, care conferences and all direct care provided.12. Adheres to the ethical standards of hospice care and the Dignity Hospice Mission & Vision statements.13. Position will be reviewed for transition to full-time when case load reaches 20-24 patients.Continuing Education Requirements: Employee is expected to participate in ongoing continuing education as requested by their immediate supervisor and/or required by policy. In addition, the employee is expected to accept personal responsibility for other educational activities to enhance job-related skills and abilities.
