Echo Hills Assisted Living and Memory Care

Echo Hills opened in October 2021.  We are owned by MJ Senior Living in Wahoo, NE - all local.  We have 61 apartments with 13 couples and lots of friends!  We several choices of rooms: studios, 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom with den, and 2 bedroom and 2 bath.  The base rate includes: 3 home cooked meals daily; snacks, fresh fruit, pastries and popcorn in the coffee shop; raised garden beds, tomato, cucumber and herb plants and flowers all enclosed in the courtyard; theatre room; chapel; library; wellness room with daily instructors; dining room; private dining room; hair salon; community room; day spa, and so much more.  We have handicap accessible van and bus for doctor~s appointments as well as activities for lunch outings, weekly shopping, museums, taco night at the American Legion, movies, casinos, fishing, and more.  Our community room hosts bingo games, cards, crafts, Margrita Mondays, entertainment, cooking, and much more.  Echo Hills can provide 6 levels of care from medical management, bathing, dressing, escorting and other daily assistance.  We have 24/7 care for all your needs.  We can provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, home health and even hospice.  Come see what all the smiles are about!!Echo Hills has our beautiful Memory Care attached to our Assisted Living.  We have a few couples that travel back and forth to visit or eat with their loved one but still get the care needed for themselves.  We offer 3 levels of care including medical management, laundry, and all their needs: dressing, bathing, toileting, to/from dining room and activities.  We are truly unique with 4 dementia trained staff and our Memory Care Director in the daytime taking care of your loved ones.  We offer socially engaging activities daily.  We even have two weekly scenic rides - sometimes we stop for ice cream too!  We have amazing technology in our Memory Care.  We have Foresight in each room.  It can detect infections up to 98% by taking your temperature, pulse and oxygen.  This infrared camera can detect if your gait is off.  We can send your doctor the video to determine the next steps.  We also have a motion detector in the bathroom alerting our staff that someone might need assistance.  We know that it is difficult to make this decision to entrust your loved ones with us.
