We've made it our goal to care for individuals in a challenging time of need. To go above and beyond.. We offer services to those who are wheelchair-dependent or in need of a stretcher. Customers are picked up from their home, medical or residence facility and transported to their appointment. We wait for them at their appointment site and return them to their original location. A1 Medical Transport has one goal to treat every patient with respect and offer quality service.
We understand that mobility challenges can make getting to essential medical appointments difficult. Thats why we specialize in wheelchair-accessible transportation, stretcher transport services, and long-distance NEMT. Our goal is to make each trip as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible.
Customers are transported in one of our non-emergency medical transport vans.
Our vans can accommodate push, electric, and bariatric wheelchairs. Our vans are ADA and CDOT compliant and equipped with a minimum of four built-in Q'STRAINT wheelchair lockdowns and two seatbelts. There's enough room for the patient, a nurse, and a loved one to accompany them to their destination. In addition, our vans can accommodate standard-size stretchers; STRYKER stretchers are our most common. Each stretcher has a STRYKER mattress with Therm-a-Rest padding for extra comfort. The transport vehicles are designed for commercial medical transport, emphasizing the patient's comfort. We also equip each van with Oxygen, and a nurse is present upon request. If a stretcher is required, the patient will rest on a comfortable hospital-style mattress.
