About Dallas County Veterans Services

The Mission of the Dallas County Veterans Service Office is to assist eligible veterans and/or their survivors in obtaining benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the State of Texas. Our primary focus is veterans assistance. This assistance is directed toward ensuring that all Texas veterans receive every benefit to which they are entitled. This goal is accomplished by providing information regarding eligibility requirements on the various programs and in assisting with the completion of required forms and other correspondence necessary to file a claim or an appeal with the VA. Other services include providing outreach to clients who are shut in, homeless, or incarcerated and giving VA benefits presentations to nursing homes, assisted living facilities and to other agencies/organizations throughout Dallas County.
