• State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP): Offers unbiased Medicare counseling and assistance 

• Benefits Enrollment Center: Helps connect Medicare beneficiaries and veterans with public and VA assistance 

• Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP): Works with older adults to detect and report healthcare fraud and misuse 

Senior Volunteer & Engagement Programs (AmeriCorps Seniors)

• Senior Companion, Foster Grandparent, RSVP: Members aged 55+ support local needsproviding companionship, tutoring, phone reassurance, fall-prevention classes, and more.

• Telephone Reassurance: Volunteers regularly call homebound seniors to reduce isolation .

• AmeriCorps Seniors: Coordinates senior volunteers through multiple programs to address nutrition and isolation .

Long-Term Care Advocacy

• Ombudsman Services: Advocates for residents rights in nursing homes and long-term care facilities .

Education & Wellness Workshops

• Caregiver & Health Education: Conducts evidence-based workshops and classes for caregivers and seniors .

• Community Events: Hosts workshops on topics like Medicare open enrollment and fraud prevention .

Senior Center Support

• Senior Centers: Supports local centers to address meal access, social interaction, and programming needs
