Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, adults, and seniors with physical, emotional, social, and mental health challenges through therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted programs. Established in 1997 and located in Naples, Florida, NTRC provides a welcoming, supportive environment where individuals of all abilities can experience the healing benefits of connecting with horses.As Collier County~s only PATH International Premier Accredited Center, Naples Therapeutic Riding Center offers specialized programs including therapeutic horseback riding, equine-facilitated learning, and equine-facilitated psychotherapy. Led by certified instructors and supported by trained volunteers, these programs are designed to improve balance, coordination, muscle strength, mobility, communication, confidence, and emotional well-being. NTRC serves individuals living with a variety of conditions, including Parkinson~s disease, multiple sclerosis, developmental disabilities, neurological conditions, and physical limitations.For older adults and seniors, therapeutic riding offers a unique opportunity to remain active, build confidence, improve physical function, and enjoy meaningful social connections.
