South West meals on wheels is a self-sustaining program that receives no governmental funding. We are proud to serve the following areas: Beechview, Bridgeville, Carnegie, Cecil, Clinton, Collier Township, Crafton, Dormont, Greentree, Heidelberg, Imperial, Ingram, Mt Lebanon, Oakdale, Robinson Township, Scott Township, South Fayette, Upper St Clair and Westwood.Our Mission Statement To provide meals to homebound seniors and individualsBenefits of Meals on Wheels Clients receive nutritious homemade food that consists of a hot meal that includes a protein, starch and vegetable; a sandwich or cup of soup, salad, fruit, dessert and a quart of milk every Monday.Our clients receive a visit from a volunteer who delivers the food and provides contact. If clients do not answer the door an emergency contact is called to determine where the client is and that they are well.  In some cases this may be the only person that client sees all day.
