Every day, thousands of families across the Greater Philadelphia area face difficult decisions about aging, hospitalization, recovery, and neurological conditionsoften without the knowledge, resources, or guidance they need. This series was built to change that. Each session features medical experts, elder care strategists, nurses, and specialty-trained professionals who break down complex topics into clear, practical guidance. Attendees will learn what families can do right now to help aging parents stay safe, supported, and well at homewithout sacrificing independence, dignity, or quality of life. What Youll Learn: Each episode explores topics that matter to every caregiving family, including: Understanding the realistic options for aging in place What to do when your parent says, Im not leaving my home How post-hospital and post-rehab recovery works at home Managing complex or chronic conditionsespecially Parkinsons, dementia, stroke recovery, and movement disorders How to keep your loved one safe with no minimum hours and flexible support When its time to consider supportive living within retirement communities How to evaluate care needs and build a customized plan using the PennDYNAMIC LifeCARE Pathway How to bring in the right experts without overwhelming the family Each session blends education, real family stories, Q&A, and professional insights.
