Our beautiful, 5 star, boutique style communities offer several levels of living including: independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care. With our smaller boutique style model, we are able to strive to have favorable staff to resident ratios which allows our team members to have the time to build meaningful relationships with our residents.

Overview:

We have a brand new location being built in Lee's Summit, MO and are seeking a dedicated Director of Marketing to join our team! The Director of Marketing possesses the ability to communicate effectively and advocate for the mission of the organization to the community and various media.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Pre-lease of building

  • Create & cultivate all inquiry relationships to capture room reservations.
  • Plan & execute monthly events to build community interest, as well as monthly events for the current apartment reservations, known as the Founders Circle members.
  • Manage a database of current advertisement platforms and timelines
  • Participate in networking groups/events within the outside community to build relationships, leads & partnerships
  • The Director of Marketing is hired first in the community pre-lease process. Until the Executive Director is hired, the Marketing Director will report directly to the VP of Marketing.

Reporting and record keeping

  • Organize and maintain lead database and records including contact information, source information and history of all contacts made with leads and contracts.
  • Complete and submit census and Marketing reports as requested
  • Maintain up to date competitive analysis
  • Complete and maintain a Marketing Plan
  • Manage budget, track and submit expenses as requested

Planning and Time Utilization:

  • Collaborate with leadership team to create a community calendar of events across the campus.
  • Complete event setup 30 minutes before scheduled start time
  • Be prepared for client appointments no less than 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time.
  • Have all advertising complete and submitted by the submission date
  • Demonstrate the ability to set and establish priorities

Marketing

  • Successful demonstration of strong marketing strategies using various media
  • Formulate and maintain a contact list for continuing marketing opportunities
  • Plan and execute marketing events each quarter that are designed to bring in new prospective residents, and should include current residents and their friends

Sales

  • Learn and utilize our sales software of Community Connect
  • Capture detailed list of names and contact information of potential residents who come to the monthly marketing events
  • Build and maintain relationships with current residents, to encourage resident referrals
  • Have a deep understanding of the local market for senior care options
  • Successfully demonstrate ability to close sales
  • Ensures accurate information be given to clients and future residents

Referral Source Relationships

  • Develop relationships in the community that will promote the success of the community
  • Promote and maintain a favorable public image; participate in community affairs
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current residents, encouraging resident referrals

Attendance and Reliability:

  • Does not abuse or take advantage of time off
  • On time to work and appointments
  • Always provides proper notice in advance of absence
  • May be required to work weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or similar preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience in marketing preferred.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and have a good driving record.
  • Ability to obtain class D drivers license.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with computer and able to use Microsoft Office products and lead management software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a proficient clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication
  • Financial management and stewardship of resources
