We Create Safe Home Living Environment for Families in New JerseyIn 2007, Karen and Gregg founded Back Home Safely, a home modification organization with the mission of creating safe and accessible homes in NJ. Along with their team of staff carpenters, they have dedicated their practice to assisting individuals in remaining in their own homes despite medical compromise, through home modification intervention. They use a patient-centered approach by focusing on the patients unique functional abilities, the patients goals and the environment in which they live. Karen and Gregg recently created a franchise called GreenLight Mobility, modeled after their NJ based business, with the mission of assisting people living in other states with their home safety and accessibility needs.Back Home Safely frequently provides continuing education classes to therapists, social workers and case managers throughout New Jersey. In addition, they present to caregiver organizations as well as senior groups to educate attendees on safety concerns, accessibility and fall risks when aging in place.
