Since 1999, Rogerson has managed Council Tower, a 17-story elevator building, owned by Council of Elders Housing Corporation, a community based organization affiliated with Forward, Inc. Rogerson oversaw the $4.5 million renovation of the HUD-supported building in the fall of 2005.Council Tower offers 144 subsidized units for elders with a live-in staff member.The building also includes a computer learning center, fitness center, a kitchen for events, on-site laundry, and a community roof deck with unrivaled views of the Boston skyline.

Our adult day health programs in Roslindale offer elders access to health care, exercise, social and therapeutic activities, outings, and nutritious meals. These programs each offer a state-of-the-art Rogerson Fitness First program, and are designed to keep people healthy, active and engaged in their communities.

Hale House offers an alternative to institutional care a homelike place when home is no longer possible. The goal of Hale House is to enhance all aspects of living in the later years by offering meaningful choices, social, intellectual and spiritual stimulation and by honoring individual worth in the collective environment for 56 elderly residents at a time. Hale House offers private bedrooms, three healthy daily meals, housekeeping, laundry, engagement activities and on-site nursing24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Hale Houses licensed on-site medical care also serves people with serious and chronic illnesses and makes it different from most other residential programs.

Florence House, developed and managed by Rogerson, comprises 17 one-bedroom cooperatively owned apartments especially designed to meet the needs of persons 55 years of age or older. There is no income limit on residents who purchase these units.Florence House cooperative apartments are located in one wing of Roslindale House, the former Roslindale High School building at Poplar and Florence streets, a short walk from Roslindale Square.An important element of these apartments is that they are part of Roslindale House, a larger community facility for elders providing access to health care, recreation, nutrition and social services. The availability of these programs and services makes Florence House a living arrangement unique in the area.
