Briarwood Community

Farnsworth House was developed by Rogerson in 1982 for The Farnsworth Housing Corporation to provide rent-subsidized one- and two-bedroom apartments for income-eligible frail elders and others with disabilities. For more than two decades, Briarwood has built a stellar reputation as a continuing care retirement community in the Worcester community offering independent living to skilled nursing. The property has 105 Independent Living Cottages, 88 Independent Living Apartments, 24 Assisted Living units and 12 Memory Care units. In addition there is a Wellness Center and Knollwood Nursing Center with 82 Skilled Nursing Beds licensed by the Department of Public Health. Briarwood is managed by Rogerson Communities.

Allen House at Springhouse, managed by Rogerson, is a residential program located within the Springhouse retirement community in Jamaica Plain, and offers 22 apartments with assisted living for people with memory loss.
