For Caregivers who need a temporary rest from their caregiving responsibilities, Mary Wade offers respite short stay care for a loved one in needOur State of Connecticut licensed Respite Care provides a safe and nurturing environment where a loved one is properly protected and cared for in their caregivers absence. Respite care is provided in our Boardman Residential Care Home or in our Kimberly Skilled Nursing Facility, depending on care needs.

Assisted living at Chatham Place is ideal for those who need a bit of assistance with everyday tasks, such as safely bathing or getting dressed. With one-on-one attention offering just the right amount of support, our caring staff gives you the helping hand you need to live your life just as you want to. Well give you the most appropriate amount of assistance, delivered with dignity and respect, so youre able to do anything you wish to. Do you need help getting to an activity or program? Well get you there. Do you need assistance getting ready in the morning? We can help. Whatever you need, you can count on us to be there, day or night.

At May Wade, The Medical Transportation program provides door-to-door service Monday through Friday for individuals age 60 and older residing in New Haven, East Haven, West Haven, North Haven and Hamden. This program is free of charge but collects voluntary donations to support the program. Riders for this program cannot be eligible for Medicaid.

Mary Wade is approved by the federal government to provide Outpatient Therapy services and to have your Inpatient & Outpatient Rehabilitation paid for by Medicare A, Medicare B, various Managed Medicare Insurances, and other payer sources.
