Grandkids will love coming to visit to utilize our large outdoor grassy area with a play set. Outside you will also find our chicken coop with many chickens to care for. At the Gables of Caldwell we are strong believers in pet therapy. The outdoor areas are great to enjoy the beautiful weather that Caldwell has during the spring and summer months. During the winter our residents can cozy up next to the fireplace in the living room and socialize with other residents. Residents can enjoy a large spa room with a walk-in tub that, with the help of our staff, can be used by all our residents. One of the favorite things to do all year round at the Gables of Caldwell is for our residents to check their own personal mailboxes. We havent skipped a beat during the COVID-19 pandemic because each resident has access to their own mailbox every day. Mail is a great way to keep in contact with those who live far away, stay connected with things going on at home, and retain independence. Each room has access to Dish network with extended channels for when you feel like simply relaxing in the privacy of your own suite. Your favorite drinks and snacks can be kept in the mini fridge in your room for easy access all the time. If you are still unsure, we have short term stay rooms where you can enjoy the whole experience for a few weeks to see if assisted living at The Gables of Caldwell is a good fit for you.Memory CareThose seeking memory care dont need to look any further than The Gables of Caldwell. Our memory care unit can house up to 13 residents. This smaller unit gives us the ability to keep our staffing ratio high so that these residents get the special care that they need. Having the unit entirely locked down is another way to ensure the safety and care of our residents. The memory care unit has its own private dining room because there is much research showing this is best for those who suffer from memory loss. With the help of staff, those in the memory care unit will still have access to the rest of the facility and have their own private outdoor space with a fenced in backyard.

Garden Club Of Cape Coral

Gardens

The Garden Club of Cape Coral was established in 1997 and currently has more than 100 members. We are proud members of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. and National Garden Clubs, Inc. We meet the second Tuesday of the month, September through May, at the Epiphany Episcopal Church located at 2507 Del Prado Boulevard S., Cape Coral. Our meetings start at 5:45 PM. Several times in our meeting season we undertake trips to places of interest in the area.We organize our own biennial flower show and in off years, take part in the Fort Myers-Lee County Garden Council Flower Show. We are active in the community, caring for the Butterfly Garden at the SW Cape Coral Library, the Rose Garden at the Cape Coral Museum of History, and the Butterfly Garden at Sands Park.We contribute to the community through our Marty Ward Merit Awards program, giving scholarship money to local high school students who are considering careers in the horticultural or environmental fields. We also donate to the several schools in the town who have school gardens. Some of our members also mentor the students who work those gardens. We also make an annual donation in memory of our members who have passed on to the Tom Allen Butterfly House at Rotary Park. We make dontions to the FFGC Cape Wekiva and to S.E.E.K.
